"The second cut is your toungue" tracklist:

"Faith Doesn't Make Me Happy" >> The vaporous and obscure mists of the pads and the punctuations of sequenced reverbs are charged with atmospheric solemnity, verticalizing ethereal sounds in which a metronomic ticking can be distinguished, whose cadences outline sections of sampled feminine singing that spreads an arcane and Oriental-tendend aura.
"Barrel Of Memory" >> The abysmal depth of the intro is succeeded by a drumming reminiscent of tribal liturgy, subsequently dominated by a first phase composed of a synthetic transmission and a second one created through a prolonged, monochromatic, tonally high extension of synth mixed with childish sampled voices and to Levantine arpeggios, in a climax of religious majesty that mesmerizes like an ecstatic vision.
"Venomous Mixture" >> A current of processed noise and a reverberated pagan ceremony chorality open the song, expanding until it reaches a fluting and exotic interlude which is interrupted by repeating itself subsequently, followed by an evocative midtempo rhythm overshadowed by coldly disembodied pads.
"Lying On Grass Or Lonely Slopes ( New Risen Throne Remix )" >> Splendidly reconstructed by the Italian solo project Dark Ambient, the track consists of a glacial, cyclical nebula of low modulations in which the sidereal darkness is concentrated, pads and drones as dense as smoke, with absolute blackness, which gravitate and overlap intensely on rarefied string touches, supernatural echoes and a mantric lament of unknown origin which gives the sound a further sinister charm. Surreal sonic experience in the chasm of the space-time concept.
"Lying On Grass Or Lonely Slopes" >> Mute, enveloping, diaphanous sonances rise from the long line of the pad, among whose dilated suspensions an artificial vocal-chord expands with otherworldly, reverberated solemnity that sweeps like air in the darkness of the sound, enchanting, capturing, crystallizing every instant, transfixed by the mechanically essential midtempo patterns of the drum-machine. Panoramic view in slow-motion of the dimension beyond human life.
"A New Feeling" >> Short-lived shamanic percussiveness and Levantine instrumentality of strings are crossed by an underlying flow of keyboard darkness, in a set of notes and rhythm that induce contemplation, allowing spiritual communication with divine entities.
"The Kingdom Of Clouds" >> Torpid, cold sonorities of pads float hypnotically in mid-air, thus expanding like nocturnal mist and enveloping cycles of indefinable synthetic micro-noises, twirling cut effects, elementary flute intersections and a sub-percussiveness that finally dissolves between trails of keyboard similar to gaseous exhalations.
"The Gaze Fixed In Your Soul" >> Dark, immaterial evanescences and subterranean pseudo-rhythmic segments, coldly radiate meditative soundscapes, in which we hear the distant and mystical melodism of the flute, the crystalline tinkling of the bell, obscure dissolvences and a brief, final feminine chorus that leads into oblivion.
"Look Deep Into The Waters" >> Spiralizations of dark noise, an artificial roar that flows like a river located hundreds of meters below the ground, made melancholy fascinating by a feminine chant that meets the growing, icy wind of the pads, ritualistic harmonies and a short line of sequenced drumming that seems to reverberate from an unspecified point in the Universe.
"A Sea Of Trivial Things" >> Obscure and expanded euphonism emitted by the synth propagates heavily in the surrounding space, creating pale, lunar atmospheres, beyond which a tumultuous drumming pours out which disappears among the primary re-emergence of pads and relaxing chirps, in a cold interpretation of Eden.

The sound of Svart1 does not aspire to a widespread diffusion of listening among the masses: on the contrary, by imposing itself with its extreme refinement, it selects, calling them to itself, that elite of listeners endowed with an accentuated propensity for aesthetics and an adequate receptivity towards a cultured, introspectively dark, powerfully metaphorical and figurative musicality. Behind the apparent ice sculpture aura of “The Second Cut Is Your Tongue” vibrates a timeless sonicity of a laptop used as a radiant body that seduces, captures, conveying the imagination towards the subjugating, inscrutable powers of the occult and remote mysticism. This release is a disconnection from reality, a mediumistic tool that will allow you to completely alienate yourself from the world, granting access to a psychic-soul portal beyond whose threshold you will get lost, abandoned, surrendered: you'll participate in every moment spent, by internalizing the imaginary narration of the penultimate event of a three-stage itinerary that every devotee of the auteur Dark-Ambient must own in its entirety in their collection. This album will win you over and make you look at the shades of black with different eyes.
